Volkswagen asked us to create a campaign that would generate interest around BlueMotion Technologies. A series of cars and innovations that help reduce environmental impact without compromising on performance or the joy of driving. Our insight was that VW made it easier to choose an eco car by making them more fun to drive. Our solution was a theory, focusing on the thinking behind the cars; that the easiest way to change human behaviour for the better is by making it fun to do.

Brief Explanation:
Chalking the roads is a Tour de France tradition. Spectators write messages of encouragement to their favorite riders. The Nike Chalkbot was a way to take this positive message even further. It brought the roads of France to everyone. By sending a message to the Chalkbot through SMS, web banners, Twitter or WearYellow.com, people around the world were able to make their mark in yellow. Over the course of a month, the Chalkbot gained over 4,000 followers on Twitter, received over 36,000 messages and printed thousands of them over 13 stages of the Tour de France.

Los jurados de Direct, presididos por Pablo Alzugaray, socio fundador de Shackleton España, ya dieron la lista corta de su categoría. Desde todo el mundo, la creatividad en acciones de Marketing Directo parece emerger, ya que las piezas que integran esta lista son 164 y pertenecen a 32 países. En tanto en lo referido a Iberoamérica, va al frente España con 11, sigue Brasil con 7, Argentina con 6, Costa Rica con 3, Colombia y Portugal con 2 y Guatemala y República Dominicana con 1 cada una.

El 2010 es el año para Venezuela

Porque en este 2009 Venezuela tiene 0 (cero) finalistas hasta ahora. Las agencias que siguen participando son LA CANCHA, DRAFT FCB o BBDO por el hecho de que todavía no han dado la lista corta en estas categorías, si ellos no obtienen finalistas, el 2009 sería el peor año en Cannes para Venezuela en muchos años.

Bueno, igual, nunca hemos ganado algo, pero hay que ser optimistas, hay muchos proyectos, grandes ideas por producir, y buenos casos por hacer. El 2010 es el año para Venezuela.

Leones de oro en Gráfica

Ya conocemos lo efectivo que son los rumores de pasillo en Cannes, y este año, seguro no será la excepción. Medios como Adlatina ya están dando a conocer los posibles ganadores latinoamericanos, y nosotros creemos en ellos, en los años anteriores han demostrado ser fuente fidedigna de lo que sucede dentro de las salas de los jurados, por ellos, nosotros nos atravemos a publicar las piezas que hasta ahora estarían ganando ORO en la región. Una para PONCE en Buenos Aires, dos para DM9 DDB y una para ALMAP BBDO en São Paulo. Hay muchos platas y bronces para la región, como ya acotamos arriba, ninguno es para Venezuela.
